Happy Birthday Kelsey!! Love, Haley and Emily

Well I can't believe that I forgot to do Kelsey's Birthday tribute!  Kelsey, I am sooo sorry!  We love cousin Kelsey Mae!  She is the cousin that looks most like my girls and I've always thought that she is the most honest cousin.  She will tell you what she thinks: the good, the bad, and the ugly.  One of my favorite examples of this is when we were visiting Pennsylvania at Christmas and Kelsey was helping me change Emily's diaper.  Out of the blue she up and told me she thinks cousin Ellie is cuter than cousin Emily.  Haha, it was hilarious.  We missed Kelsey on Monday but we are looking forward to seeing her sometime soon this summer!  Here is our tribute:

Haley and I and Carly and Kelsey at Christmas 2011

This is one of the only pictures I have of Kelsey holding Emily

BECAUSE, Kelsey usually holds Ellie and Calla gets stuck with Emy

Another example:  Kelsey holding Ellie and Calla with Emy, haha.

This picture was taken when Carly came with the kids to visit me in January of 2011

We visited the mall

Haley and Kelsey had a lot of quality time together during that visit

They even wore matching pjs

Happy Birthday Kelsey!

Man I'm so behind on here that I hardly know what day to talk about.  We ate, we slept, we played and that about covers it, haha.

WEDNESDAY was a pretty low key day I think.  Well, honestly, I can't really remember anything that we did so I'm kind of assuming it was low key :).  Oh I know, I cleaned!  The girls were up by 7:30 and I got up and started cleaning and we let David sleep in for a bit because he didn't have to work and he's been getting up early the past couple days.  We had set up gym reservations for Emily at 11 so I quickly mopped the bathrooms and kitchen before we left so they'd be dry when we got back.  Dave and I ran together and then came back and fed the girls lunch and then put them down for naps.  Then I finished cleaning.  Haley slept about two hours and Emily slept about two and a half.  When they woke up we went to visit our elderly neighbor Francis whom Haley calls Nana.

It had been a while since we had visited Nana and I'm really glad we did because I think she must keep track.  She was asking if we had been gone or something, oops.  I mentioned that Haley had been sick and had thrown up last week (which she had, remember when she randomly threw up last Thursday morning?) so I felt like that was a good excuse, haha.  We stayed for just under an hour and then headed home because I had to run out to meet something with some plastic shelves from one of the units.  David started our potluck dinner while I ran to Hobby Lobby and sold my thing for $5 putting my profit for the bunk bed unit at $60.

After I got home I finished the potluck dinner and put it in the oven and then we fed Emily and played with the girls until it was time for the church potluck.  The potluck was held at the Freeman's house this week.  Haley was so excited when we pulled into 'Owen's house.'  I don't think she played with Owen the whole time we were there.  Haley ate one and a half pieces of pizza and Emily ate some crackers.  We ended up staying pretty late talking with people and didn't get home until 9.  The girls went right to sleep as soon as we got in.

THURSDAY morning we had women's Bible study at the Liebengood's house.  Chloe and Caleb (9th and 7th grade) baby-sat the kids while we did our book study.  Haley had a great time playing and she did pretty well until at one point she was running through the room holding herself so I grabbed her and took her to the bathroom and she had already gone enough in her panties that they were kind of wet.  Fortunately I had an extra pair packed but she has been doing that a lot at home lately and it is kind of a bummer.  Chloe said she went on the potty twice for her and hadn't leaked at all.

After Bible study we came home for lunch and the Caldwells followed us home and joined us.  Ben Caldwell has been redoing the wood floors in one of the bedrooms in their house and it's super loud and the girls have not been able to take good naps.  Amanda had asked if they could nap at my house and I told them they should come for lunch too since it's right before naps.  I made some macaroni and cheese and peanut butter and jelly and the girls ate and then went down for naps.  Amanda ran out to run some errands while they slept and David left for a day trip.  Oh, I forgot!  Right before lunch I met a lady at Wendy's and sold her a furniture dolly for $38.  I guess those things are hot, three people wanted it!

Haley was the first one to wake up from naps, she slept a little over two hours.  She came out and Evelyn was sleeping on the couch so she whispered until she woke up.  When Haley whispers it is so quiet you really can't hear anything, I think she is just mouthing words.  Evelyn woke up about five minutes after Haley so they didn't have to be quiet for long.  Amanda came and picked up the girls around 3:30 which worked out well because the girls and I headed out to the Mason's to tutor Caroline in some math.  Christopher and William played with Haley and Emily while I met with Caroline.  Emily booed and poor Bonnie had to change it, she probably thought her diaper changing days were long gone, oops.

When we got home Haley was asking for Lucy and Evelyn, I guess she thought they were staying the night or something.  I played with the girls and then started dinner.  Both of them were getting hungry and therefore cranky so I gave them some crackers to hold them over.  I know they don't eat dinner as well when they have a snack right before but I would so much rather have that than have them both crying while I'm trying to make dinner which is what they were doing before I gave them crackers.  David got home just as I was finishing.  He had brought some cookies from the airport which was plenty of incentive for Haley to eat a bunch of rice and even some turkey burger.  Emily ate a bunch of turkey burger and a bit of rice.

After dinner I went and picked up Ella for our study and David put the girls in the bathtub.  Then they hung out on our bed and watched Dora while Chloe, Ella, Amanda, and I finished our study on Ruth.  I'm not sure what we're going to do next so let me know if you have any ideas!  David put the girls to bed and I think they went down pretty easy for him.

Haleyism:
Haley likes to try and write her name.  Anytime she has a piece of paper she says she's going to write her name.  She really just draws a bunch of lines though.

Emilyism:
Emily is getting pretty good at her army crawl.  She was in her bedroom playing with Haley while I was getting ready for the day in the bathroom and she crawled all the way from the bedroom to my feet in the bathroom.

I'll add lots of pictures on my post for tomorrow, all of them are on David's phone and the battery is dead right now.
