Catch up!

Sorry I got behind on here again, I will try and catch up tonight!

FRIDAY we didn't have anything on the schedule so the girls and I slept in and then played for a while before going to the gym.  I made sure that Haley had gone to the potty right before we left and then I told the workers to take her at the halfway point.  Well Haley must have been sneaking herself drinks or something because she ended up going three times while she was there!  The first time she asked the lady to go, the second time the lady just took her, and the third time was at the very end and it was in her pants.  I apologized a lot but the lady acted like it was no big deal.  I wonder if that happens a lot or something.

After the gym the girls and I went to Target to pick up a shower gift for a baby shower I went to today.  As soon as we got there I took the girls to the family bathroom and Haley went on the potty.  After going pee pee she immediately asked for a toy.  She is definitely getting a hang of the whole potty bribery.  I let her pick out a headband from the dollar section, she loves headbands.  It was kind of a stretch to go to Target so close to lunchtime and naptime and it was starting to show by the end.  I was pushing Emily around in the cart and holding Haley simultaneously.  We got in and out of there as fast as we could.  That was pretty hard considering all of their stuff was on clearance, it was crazy!

We came home after Target and got lunch and I put the girls down for naps.  They both slept about two hours.  I took Haley to the potty when she woke up and then we went to Wal-mart to pick up a few random things like milk and printer ink.  We went by the bakery and got a cookie, that about made Haley's day for sure.  After Wal-mart we came home and I fed the girls dinner.  I had bought some bananas so I could try feeding Emily solids.  She didn't hate the bananas but she wasn't exactly gobbling them down either.  We'll keep working on it.  After dinner I played with the girls until beditme.  Haley had a real regression with potty training after dinner.  While I was feeding Emily the bananas she went into her room and peed and booed in her panties.  It was a tiny piece of boo but still nasty.  Then after a while she was standing on one of the kitchen chairs and he peed.  Both times she told me she had to go as she was going so I guess that's better than nothing.

Emily got tired first so I put her down for bed and then read Haley books for about thirty minutes and then put her down.  David got home about an hour later, we are so glad that he's home!

 Last night the girls both had a terrible nights.  Haley woke up a couple times for whatever reason and Emily was awake every 2 - 3 hours to eat.  I guess the bananas didn't fill her up enough.  They both woke up around 9 and David took them and let me sleep another hour, it was so nice!  We got ready for the day and then decided to pack a lunch and take it to the park.  Mr. Watson called and asked if Haley would want to play with Chloe today and we told him we could pick her up and bring her along.  Chloe is baby Claire's older sister.  She is 2 and only a couple months older than Haley.  I think her Birthday was in October.


Haley was so excited when we picked up Chloe.  It was a lot of fun to watch the girls play at the park.  They chased eachother around and took turns using the portable potty we brought along.  Chloe is also potty training so it was pretty convenient.  She had a pull-up on though so not quite as risky as Haley.  Haley did have an accident while we were there but I had brought a change of pants and panties so we were prepared.  The girls could hardly sit still long enough to eat lunch.  They ended up playing and then coming back for bites of sandwich every so often.  Haley has been eating a lot better lately, she ate a lot of sandwich today.

After the park we came home and put the girls down for naps.  Chloe laid down in the guestroom, Haley was in her room and we put Emily in the swing.  Once they were all settled, I headed out to the baby shower.  David said the girls slept about two and a half hours and then woke up and used the potty and played.  When I got home they were all running around the den and David was holding Emily.  I helped get them dressed and ready to go and then we took Chloe home.

We went straight to a Birthday party from Chloe's house.  There is a couple in our small group who have a little boy who is just a couple weeks older than Haley, his name is Emery.  They also have a little girl who is three and a baby who is a month old.  They just got a new swing set in their backyard with a slide and everything so Haley went straight to that as soon as we got there.  I think Haley is definitely ready for her Birthday in a couple weeks.  She cried during the presents because she wanted to open them and asked to sing Happy Birthday a couple times before we actually sang it.  She used the potty four times while we were there.  I just took her every thirty minutes or so and she went just about every time.  We left around 7:30 and came home and let Haley play in the den for a while.  After her completely accident-free Birthday party, she peed and booed in her pants when we got home.  I should have put her on the potty because I was just thinking that it was about that time and then she came up to me and started talking about pee pee and I knew.

We put her to bed around 8:30 but it ended up being more like nine because she kept asking for things.  First she wanted to go potty, then she wanted to eat some applesauce, water, etc.  Emily had fallen asleep on the way home from the party and slept at least an hour so she's still awake right now but we'll put her down shortly.  Dave and I are about to watch a movie called 'Bernie.'  Apparently it's a movie based on a true story and it's set in Carthage, Texas which is only about an hour from here.  We'll let you know if it's any good.
