Won't you be my neighbor?

Today Haley woke up pretty early so I brought her to bed with us.  At one point, Emily also woke up and Katelyn brought her to bed to feed her so there were four of us in the bed when morning came.  Haley also woke up in the middle of the night.  We couldn't find her paci so she had to use a soothie and she woke up without it in the middle of the night.  I couldn't find it in the dark so I had to turn the light on.  By that time, Haley had already climbed out of bed and gone to bug Katelyn.  Actually, when I went to get her she brought me Katelyn's Bible and was saying pupu potty.  I begrudgingly took her diaper off and put her on there and I don't even remember but I think she didn't even go...keep in mind this is in the middle of the night.  Then I put her back to bed until she came to sleep with us.  I know that is a confusing way of narrating the night.
Katelyn had some sale she wanted to go to at a kids consignment shop downtown so I stayed with the babies while she did that. Haley ate a few rice krispies for breakfast.  Haley wanted to sit on the potty and watch Elmo and Emily sat in the bumbo and also watched it.  The angle Emily sits at while leaning forward in that thing must do a number on her stomach because she threw up like 3 times before it was over.  I quickly hopped in the shower while they watched sesame street.  Then I got Emily ready for the day and Haley pooped in the potty.  I tried to put Emily down for her morning nap after that.  Emily sat in the swing a while and Haley and I watched a Mr. Rogers episode on youtube.  It was about batteries...kinda random but Haley liked it.  I don't think I have watched that with her before so I was surprised.  Then mommy came home and we fed Haley her lunch.  Then we packed up lunches and headed to the park.  The park was very cold...for texas that is...like 47.  Haley saw a baby and kept saying "look at that baby".  She swung a while and went down the slide.  Once we got sick of being cold we went home and put the babies to sleep.  While they slept we watched some Duck Dynasty. When they woke up, we went to the south side to a mexican store to see if their meat was any cheaper (nope) and to get some tortillas.  Then Katelyn and I had a baby shower to go to for some friends from First Baptist.  Katelyn is in a Bible study on Monday nights with a bunch of girls that go there.  A lot of times in the south they will have couples showers.  They also do showers for each kid you have, this was a shower for a second child.  Chloe Liebengood watched Haley while we were out.  We brought Emily along because we weren't sure how Haley would do her first time with Chloe.  Haley really cried when we left but Chloe said she stopped after we left.  She said that Haley used the potty about 2 or 3 times while we were gone and didn't have any accidents.  When we got home Haley was awake but Chloe said she had put her to bed an hour ago and Haley had just randomly woken up.  Katelyn took Chloe home and I played with the girls in Haley's bed and then we both put them to bed when Katelyn got home.

Haleyism:  Haley loves to sing.  Even this Dora book she has that we sing along to the music as it plays...she can already imitate that.

Emilyism:  Emily tried some guacamole at the baby shower but I don't think she liked it...at least she didn't eat much.

We don't wanna raise spoiled kids so we are making them share a bed.  Give them a taste of their own medicine...now they each get to see what its like to sleep with a baby scratching you and kicking you in the back all night long!
