Wednesday Katelyn has BSF in the mornings. I woke up and helped her get the girls ready to go and once they got out the door I crawled into bed to try and decide if I wanted to go to the gym. Well, it must not have been a very feisty debate because the next thing I knew, I was waking up to a phone call from Katelyn telling me she was on her way home and it was just after 11am. I got up and ate some breakfast/lunch (literally because I ate a brown sugar pop tart and a manicotti) and then played with Haley for a bit. She wasn't feeling too great and was kinda fussy and didn't wanna eat. Emily had a doctor's well visit at 1:45 so we went over there. We aprovechar'ed that visit to have Dr. Bagnell check out Haley too. Emily grew to 23.75 inches (29%) 13 lb. 11oz. 49%. Haley was pretty fussy and had a fever so Dr. Bagnell checked her and said the flu, both A and B, has been going around. Haley seemed healthy so it's probly a tooth. Then Emily got a shot and we went home. Both babies went right to sleep so we headed out and had Daniel babysit. Among other things, we checked out a furniture store that had put an ad in our mailbox. There was a leather couch for $399. No offense but I had always wanted to get rid of our couch in the den and replace it with something else. I didn't really want leather but oh well. We looked at it and found out it is actually a blend. its alright though, what do you expect for $400? Then we got a text from Daniel saying that Haley had woken up with a bloody nose so we headed home. Katelyn wants to sell our old couch on craigslist first so we can have room for the new one before we buy it. I agreed. That said, if anyone wants the old Stoltzfus sick days couch, come and get it. When we got home, Daniel had already cleaned Haley up and they were sitting on a chair in the den. Haley and Emily LOVE Daniel. Haley always talks about him: "DANIEL'S HOME!; shhhh daniels sleeping; HI DANIEL!" Emily always smiles at him and does her pterodactyl noises. Anyway, we made some dinner for missio dei and I gave Haley a bottle with some medicine in it. Then Haley wanted to sleep so I put her down for a while before we left. I kinda thought maybe I would stay home with her so she could sleep but Katelyn didn't want her to be out for the night and thought that since Dr. Bagnell didn't see any signs of sickness, it would be ok to take her to church. The Caldwells have 2 sick kids and a sick grandma so we dont wanna take chances. It was nice to be able to be at wednesday night church again. We talked about John 1, how in Jesus was life and that life was the light of men. Our church follows the liturgical calendar. Last sunday was Epiphany, which is a focus on Jesus as the light. Pretty good insights from all about how He reveals himself to us, we don't just discover him. Also, grace and truth need to go hand in hand. The truth about us is pretty depressing unless we speak of His grace. Doctrine's end goal should not be knowledge, but way of correctly understanding who God is and how to grow closer to Him. Then we came home and I wrote this and we went to bed.
Haleyism: She passed gas today as she bent over and when I laughed out loud, she started making the noise with her mouth. I know she just figured I thought it was funny. I thought it was particularly funny though because I was in another room as she tooted so hearing her do it with her mouth from the other room made it seem like she was trying to pretend she had never tooted and had been doing it with her mouth the whole time.
Emilyism: Emily sat up last night. Not really steadily, but it counts! She has yet to roll over though.

Emily is doing the robot dance.
Emily at the Doctor.
Her head looks kinda wrinkly.
Those are great pictures of Emily!! Miss you all!, Love, Mimi
