Another sleepless night; well not really. I just had to get up early to fly. Haley slept all the way through the night which was nice for Katelyn. Come to find out there was freezing rain this morning so I took a different plane and was able to get home earlier today since it is faster. The Caldwell's needed to get stuff done and Evelyn goes to school so they dropped off Lucy for Katelyn to watch. You would think one more baby would just be horrible but actually Haley plays pretty nice with Lucy. I say that to mean that they are both mean babies and like to hit each other but are more independent and tough so they don't always cry. They entertain themselves though which is nice cuz Katelyn got all her cleaning plus laundry done today. I played with them and helped clean a bit when I got home. Eventually the babies took naps and Evelyn got dropped off so her parents could do more work. I played with her outside just long enough to get out a tricycle for her; have her ask for a helmet, me find one, her put it on, and then say its too cold outside. It was pretty cold I was not disappointed to go back inside. Haley was fussy all day pretty much even with those babies. Haley did take one of her medicines nicely today though. we thought yesterday to give it to Emily first and have Haley watch how good Emily does yaaaaaaayyy!!!! you get the drift. Emily basically is clueless till the medicine is halfway down her throat and then we shove a paci in so she doesn't cry and Haley just thinks she's getting put to shame. Today she actually asked for her medicine. The amoxicillin I had to force down but the Ibuprofen she just sucked on the syringe which was cool. Amanda came for dinner and then we had men's prayer meeting at our house so Katelyn took the girls to the gym for a while. She came back and we weren't quite done so she gave them baths and put them to bed. Then she folded some laundry and I wrote this.
Haleyism: Haley blows her nose regardless of if there is a tissue there.
Emilyism: Emily needs one of those cones around her neck like a dog so that she cant pull out her paci when she sleeps. Seriously, the first 10 minutes or so until she's asleep we have to hold her hand to save her from herself.
Haley is like that guy that sawed his arm off cuz he was stuck in a crevice under a rock.
Haley drinking from a big girl glass.'
Some weird ballerina thing. One of her few shining moments today not engulfed with fussiness.
Haley needed juice because Lucy had a juice box
Something weird about a baby that likes small dark places...I guess she is a bunny...
That's a great idea! Putting a cone around a baby's neck so that they don't pull out their paci! It might look alarming however.... Love, Mimi
