Friday

Thursday night Haley's fever broke.  That was nice because we didn't have to worry about her over heating or anything, but it happened after we had gone to bed so it wasn't as great as it could have been.  Haley had a rough night still.  She didn't have any bloody noses, thanks to the saline solution Katelyn bought.  She still seemed fussy from her runny/stuffy nose and just I think still being sick even without a fever.  I know Emily was up several times and at one point all four of us were in the bed together.  Eventually Haley went back to hers but then came back to ours in the morning.  I think Emily stayed with us after one of the times when Katelyn went to get her.  Anyway, once Haley was sick of being in bed and wanting to get up and eat I got up with her.  We also took Emily and put her in the bouncer so mommy could sleep a few uninterrupted minutes. Haley really does not like those brown sugar pop tarts. Then I decided to take a shower.  Haley's hair was kinda gross and I figured she would feel better after a shower so we got ready for that.  I figured Emily is probably stinky too so I just washed them both off and then took a shower myself. I was supposed to go to the Caldwell's this morning to paint but I also had another commitment for lunch with somebody and since the Caldwell's got a late start, I ended up just hanging out at home.  At 12:30 Katelyn took the girls to the gym where she worked out and showered while they were at the nursery and I went on my lunch date.  Then when I got home they were going down for naps so I changed and headed to the Caldwell's to help them paint.  Katelyn says that while I was gone, all hell broke loose.  I came home to both babies crying and Katelyn making dinner.  Katelyn said she wasn't able to get anything done because if it wasn't one kid it was the other.  One would sleep while the other cried and then they would switch off.  Haley is still trying to get over her sickness I guess.  She didn't eat much today.  Katelyn had a progressive dinner planned with the MOPs moms so she left with Emily.  Haley, Daniel and I ate dinner and played for a bit before trying to put Haley to bed for about three hours.  She would lay there and cry so eventually I brought her out.  Fed her six spoonfulls of apple sauce, then watched the Bible DVD and then finally put her to bed about 9:45.

Haleyism:  at the gym, the lady said she kept saying "potty" and trying to pull her pants down.
Emilyism:  Emily slept almost all afternoon. took a 4 hour nap. I realize this contradicts what I said earlier.  I guess I got it wrong.  Who knows.  Katelyn just said Emily made up for Haley being bad so I guess I got it totally wrong.
