We all slept in late so that was good. I made pancakes for breakfast around 10:00 so we all ate a big breakfast and then David and I got ready for the day and got the girls ready and headed over to the Caldwells. David went to help and I went to see the house. When we got there David put Emily in the bjorn and helped unload stuff and I helped Amanda wash some floors while Haley played with some of Evelyn and Lucy's floors. I ended up staying with the girls a lot longer than I had planned. Emily fell asleep right away in the bjorn so we transferred her to the couch where she took a nice nap. We held Haley off with snacks and new toys and ended up getting a good amount of cleaning done considering.
The highlight of the day was when Evelyn and Lucy showed up for about thirty minutes. Ben Caldwell's parents are in town to help with everything and they brought lunch over and the girls were with them. Haley was so excited to see them. They left after a bit and I was ready to take the girls home then but David was using the van to transport some stuff from the Caldwell's apartment so we ended up having to wait for them to get back and unload everything first. We finally made it home at around 3:15 and by then Haley was so tired she hardly mentioned her runny nose when she went down. Emily had already been sleeping for a while so she was wide awake. Eventually she fell asleep and then I made dinner while they slept at the same time. Haley slept a little over two hours and Emily was still sleeping when it was time to go and pick up David (we had left him at the Caldwell's). Daniel had just gotten in fortunately so I headed off with Haley and Daniel kept an eye on Emily (she was sleeping in the swing so pretty easy job I think).
Emily slept the whole time we were gone and all the way through dinner so that was nice. After dinner I played with the girls while David did the dishes. Haley did not eat much for dinner and even refused the ice cream I offered her afterwards after only two bites! I was getting worried that she wouldn't eat anything but then she couldn't pass up some butterscotch krimpets I offered her.
Both girls had a hard time going to bed. Poor Emily, it was not her fault, I just waited too long and then she was overtired. Haley could not go to sleep because her nose is stuffy and she can't breathe when her paci is in. The bad news is she can't sleep when her paci is out. We are in quite the conundrum. To be honest, Haley is currently sitting on my lap while I write this! I wasn't sure if I should take a hard line and make her lay in her bed until she fell asleep (crying) or just let her sit on my lap until she fell asleep herself. I think when she's laying in bed all she can think about is her stuffy nose because she constantly blows her snot out, I can hear her over the monitor. Anyways, I decided one baby awake is better than two so I let her just sit with me. I feel like her crying would eventually wake Emily up. I'll let you know tomorrow how the night went. *update* Haley is currently sleeping on my lap, poor baby. Also baby Claire is doing great, she may be able to come home sometime next week, she is amazing doctors, keep praying!
Haleyism:
Haley loves to make her own words to the tune 'Frere Jacques,' otherwise known as 'are you sleeping.' Often she sings Emily is sleeping to it but today she sang something then 'jugo' to it when I offered her some juice. Jugo is Spanish for juice. I'll have to get a video sometime, it is pretty funny.
Emilyism:
Have we mentioned that Emily loves Daniel? She is going to be so sad when she wakes up tomorrow and he is gone!

| This is what she did when David told her to smile, oh boy. |
| The girls this morning, this is my favorite picture of them together so far! To bad our nightstand is in it! |
I love the last picture too! They look so cute! Love, Mimi
