Haley has a friend for dinner

Wednesday night Emily was up a couple times and I just put the paci in.  At 5am she woke up and I put the paci in and then she woke up about fifteen minutes later and I realized she had a huge boo.  Who boos at 5 in the morning?!  I changed her diaper and gave her some bottle and she went back to sleep until 8:15.  We had church Bible study this morning so we were hurrying around to get out the door in time.  I had to wake Haley up, she loves to sleep.  Emily does not love to sleep as much as Haley but she does wake up a lot happier.

Haley did really well at Bible study.  She didn't have any accidents and played nicely.  Towards the end Meg put a Dora movie on for them and Haley started laughing uncontrollably.  I seriously think she couldn't control herself she was so happy.  It was super loud, haha.  Emily got passed around a bit during Bible study and spent some time playing on the floor.  One of the girls in my study just had a baby last Monday and she was there so Emily did not get quite as much attention as usual.  That was okay though because then I got to hold her more.

After Bible study we came home and had lunch and then Haley and Emily went down for naps.  Haley went right to sleep but Emily chatted in her crib for a while.  I remember when Haley went through that stage, sometimes it took her forever to talk herself to sleep.  Emily's babbling does not seem to bother Haley so that is a huge blessing.  Emily slept about two and a half hours and Haley was still sleeping after three hours so finally David went in and woke her up.  He had just gotten back from his flight.  I needed Haley to wake up one, because it was almost 5, and two, because I wanted to take her to go pick up her friend Chloe from school.

Chloe Watson is a little girl who goes to our church, she is the sister of the little baby with trisonomy 18, baby Claire.  Anyways, on Thursdays Melanie, the mom, teaches a class at LeTourneau so she is not able to pick Chloe up from school.  Usually a lady named Meg from our church picks her up but she couldn't today so we got to.  Haley was pretty excited at first but she got super timid once we went inside the school.  Chloe yelled out "Haley!" as soon as she saw her, it was so cute.  I think Haley was a little scared of the teachers because when we walked up to Chloe's teacher she looked at me and said, 'poo poo potty!'  She had just gone and I knew she didn't have to go, she was just saying it because she know that it usually means we can go to a secluded room and she can have some alone time with mommy or daddy, even if it is on a toilet.  I held her hand and she warmed up pretty quickly, plus we left right away.

I had asked Melanie if we could have Chloe stay and have dinner with us and play for a little bit after school and she said that would be great.  David had been making spaghetti while I picked up Chloe which was super great of him.  When we got home the girls played for a little bit while I set the table and helped David finish making dinner.  Then we all sat down and ate together.  I had pureed green beans for Emily but she was not interested at all.  I mixed some banana I had with them but it must have not been enough banana taste because she only ate a couple bites and then turned away.  I ended up having to get out some pear to give to her.

After dinner David played with the girls while I did the dishes and made some cookies for the girl's Bible study Amanda Caldwell and I do Thursday nights.  The two 8th grade girls from our church are in it, they are also Haley's baby-sitters.  David held down the fort while I went and picked up the girls and then David took Chloe and Haley to the pet store and then took Chloe home on their way home.  I kept Emily with me during the study, she did pretty well now that I think about it.  David got home just as we were finishing so I took Chloe and Ella home while he started the bedtime process.  When I got home Haley was booing on the potty and Emily was hanging out on the floor, they were watching Dora.  I helped put on pjs and then we put them to bed, they were both so tired.

Haleyism:
This happened a last week but I think I forgot to put it on here.  When we visited Katie at the hospital last Tuesday, Haley started asking for baby Claire.  She totally remembered that that was the place where baby Claire was born.  She saw baby Claire there once and it was from a distance and through a window but she totally remembered.  That was back in October!

Emilyism:
After David took Chloe home he took Haley to Burger King and they got a milkshake.  He said he gave Emily some and she seemed to like it.

Haley was swaying back and forth when I took this picture

They both ate really well

Daddy is an excellent chef

    1. Well I was going to say something about how impressive Haley's memory is, but now I don't have to.
I can't believe that little girl goes to school! Is that typical?
