Welcome Grandpa Wybenga!

Today was an exciting day because Grandpa Wybenga came!  It started out with Bible study fellowship in the morning.  Haley went boo boo on the potty before we left so I felt safe putting her in panties.  When I went to pick her up she was dry but had just asked to use the potty so I quickly took her.  I was glad I did because she went boo boo again!  Her teacher said that she had gone once for them.  In Texas they call number one, 'tee tee.'  Haley gets a kick out of it, I think she thinks they are saying it wrong.

After BSF we came home and had lunch with Daddy.  I let Haley play a little bit afterwards and Emily laid on her tummy time mat but then it was time for naps.  Emily had a bit of a hard time going down so David put his Ipad in there for her and she went right to sleep.  She is turning into her sister.  David had to leave for a flight while they were sleeping.  Emily only slept about an hour and a half and then she woke up wide awake.  I tried feeding her and then putting her back down but she wouldn't have it.  I let her stay up until Haley woke up.

We got a package in the mail today from the Mountz family, it was a Birthday gift for Haley.  I know Kimi wasn't happy that it was late but it worked out really well to spread out the gifts, Haley was thrilled.  She is usually so cranky after she wakes up but she perked right up once I told her that there was a present for her.  She opened a beautiful dress which I promptly declared to be her Easter dress!  No sooner was the present opened and Grandpa Wybenga arrived!  Haley was not too sure about him at first but she got over it quickly when I gave her a snack.  It's amazing what a couple Cheez-its can do.  Emily liked Grandpa right away, she was happy for him to hold her.  After a bit I put Emily in the swing to go back to sleep while I made a pasta dish for the church potluck tonight.  Then Grandpa helped me load up the van and go to church.

Poor Grandpa may never visit us again after that car ride.  Emily had woken up after about thirty minutes in the swing and I think she was still tired because she cried the whole way to church.  She had a hard time once we got there too.  I had brought some applesauce along to feed her and she did much better once she was fed.  I spotted some teeth starting to poke through on the bottom so I blame them.  Haley took a while to warm up to everyone at church for some reason.  She wanted me to hold her all the time.  By the time we left she was crawling around like a dog.  Grandpa Wybenga got to know a bunch of people during the potluck.  Bonnie Mason came up to me after and told me when he introduced himself she thought he was our neighbor Ray (Grandpa Wybenga's name is Ray too), haha.  That really got my funny bone for some reason.

David came right to church from the airport, both girls were so excited to see him.  We went home and I let Haley play for a while and then I put the girls to bed.  Emily was so tired she went right down.  I think I'll give her Tylenol if she doesn't sleep well.

Haleyism:
When we got home from BSF Haley was standing next to the potty and she went boo in her pants, diarrhea  I put her on the potty and she went two more times.  I'm not sure what that was about but she hadn't had an accident in a long time so that was kind of a bummer.  I feel like diarrhea can be an exception though.  New word of the day:  diarrhea.

Emilyism:
Emily has teeth coming we think!

Haley put her own pajamas on tonight, do you see any problems?
