Haley used the potty twice during her class and the teachers said she was good. Emily had drunk her entire bottle but was still wide awake when I went to pick her up. The teachers said it had been a pretty crazy time in her class so they thought she was too distracted to sleep. I wanted to mention, two weeks ago when I fed Emily between the discussion time and the lecture, the class next to her's was having their song time and it was hilarious. All of the kids were sitting in high chairs and the teachers were singing the songs and doing motions and the kids were just watching and looking amused. After the song I could hear one of the teachers, who was still catching her breath from the motions, say 'okay, that's all the entertainment for today.' Haha, it really did look like they were putting a concert on for them or something.
Haley was super talkative on the way home from BSF. She was talking about her two teachers, Ms. Claire and Ms. Rebekah. She told me that Ms. Claire is crazy and that it was her Birthday today. Then she proceeded to sing Happy Birthday to Ms. Claire. Ms. Claire has a pretty animated personality so I can see why Haley describes her as crazy. Next week I'm going to ask her if it really was her Birthday today.
When we got home I left the girls with Daddy and then went and met two ladies for lunch and a MOPS meeting. We are deciding who to ask to be the coordinators for next year because neither of us are going to do it again. I would do it if the need was there but I feel like there are plenty of people who seem to want to do it. Anyways, we had lunch and discussed that. When I got home David had both of the girls fed and in bed. He said the low point of the time was when he was feeding Emily and Haley went to the bathroom and pooped her pants. Thanks Haley. They slept a little over two hours and then they woke up and we went and ran some errands. We were taking dinner to two families that just had babies and then making something for our church potluck tonight.
First we stopped by David's company to refill our propane tank for our grill. David's get free propane tank refills as a company perk. Actually he gets one refill per month and we never use that much so if anybody wants some free propane, come visit us in Texas! Next we went to Kroger because they were having a huge sale on Tombstone pizzas and David loves those but they have been getting expensive lately so we hardly ever buy them. Anyways, we bought seven so that should hold him off for a while. After Kroger we went to Wal-mart to pick up some salad mixes for the dinners. When we got home David grilled a bunch of chicken for the dinners and I fed Emily and got the rest of the dinners together. Then David went and dropped off the food while I got everything ready for church. When he got home we all jumped in the van and headed to church. We were only a couple minutes late.
David and I were with the youth during the study part tonight. It kind of stinks to miss out on the adult discussion but we only have to do the youth maybe once every five weeks or so it really isn't bad at all. I kept Emily with me and she had a great time. I let the kids take turns holding her during the discussion time. I used her as an incentive to be quiet during the listening time and it worked. Those kids love to hold babies. I don't remember liking babies when I was around five. I guess Calla likes to hold babies. Haley did well in her class which was in the room right next to our's and separated only by glass doors. I saw her walking around in there with a container over her head at one point. She is kind of odd.
After church we stayed and talked for a while, kind of a long time actually. We were finally pulling away at 8:55. Needless to say, as soon as we got home the girls went right to bed.
Haleyism:
Haley loves to play ring around the rosey with the other girls her age. At one point all four of the little girls were running around the room holding hands.
Emilyism:
Emily has been babbling a lot more lately.
This is what I found when Emily started fussing during nap time...nothing but trouble. Emily's head is under the covers.
Haley waving
No road rage here.
These girls were running around holding hands
Ashes, ashes, they all fell down.
