Waiting for new baby Fenton

Thursday morning women's Bible study was at our house.  David didn't have to work so he helped me get the girls fed and then headed out to run some errands.  Haley was so excited when Christopher, Lucy, and Evelyn came.  She kept saying things really loud.  Emily stayed awake for the first hour of Bible study and then started to get grumpy so I put her down for a nap.  Today was cold and overcast so it was a perfect day for napping.  Emily slept two hours and then we woke her up because Bible study was over and we wanted to eat lunch.

David came home and we heated up some leftovers and ate.  Then we let Haley play for a bit before putting her down for an earlier nap just before 1.  She ended up sleeping two and a half hours.  Emily went down for her second nap about an hour and a half into Haley's nap and we ended up waking her up because we wanted to go grocery shopping.  We didn't have tons of time so we took our newspapers and just price-checked everything at Wal-mart.  Haley used the potty twice while we were there.  Wal-mart bathrooms are the worst let me tell you.  There were two ladies in there when I took Haley in and one of them left as we were washing our hands.  She didn't wash her hands.  When we got out I saw her getting onto one of those Wal-mart scooters.  Remind me never to ride one of those.

After Wal-mart we came home and David put the groceries away and played with the girls while I made dinner.  I made pork chops, potatoes, and carrots for dinner.  Haley was not interested in any of it but she ate a bit of each thing.  I thought she would want to eat more after eating a bite but that only seemed to confirm to her that she didn't like it.  Oh well, Emily ate everything we put on her tray so that was nice of her.

After dinner David took the girls out while I had Bible study at my house with the 8th grade girls and Amanda.  He took them to McDonalds to get a milkshake but their ice cream machine was down so they want to Starbucks and got some kind of vanilla ice drink.  He said it was a far cry from a milkshake.  Then he took them to the mall to play on the 25 cent machines, without quarters of course.  Originally I told David that I would keep Emily but he said he could take both of them.  I saw him leave with the bjorn and the backpack but didn't realize his strategy for handling both was this:

He said they evened eachother out
After the mall he brought them home and put them to bed.  They both went right to sleep so that was nice because we weren't quite finished our study.  We finished up and then Amanda drove the girls home and I went and grabbed my phone!  My sister Kelly has been in labor for most of the day so we have been waiting for any news!  Right now she is in the hospital with her epidural just waiting, I hope her little baby girl is born soon, we can't wait to meet her!

Haleyism:
Haley was a little protective of the 25 cent toys.  Apparently she stood right in the door of one and said 'mine' when another girl was trying to climb in.  David intervened and made her share.

Emilyism:
Emily loved being in the bjorn facing out, she hasn't been in there for a while.  David said she kept laughing.
